Annual Highlights
In August, we gathered in Fargo, ND for our annual Restorative Practices Council meeting—two days of meaningful connection, learning, and forward-thinking collaboration.

Key Highlights:
Strengthening relationships and building trust
Exploring communication styles through the Insights Discovery model
Discussing the impact of recent policy developments
Learning from local partnerships and school-based practices
Collaboratively shaping the future of restorative practices in our state
We were honored to have Rep. Jayme Davis, who led an engaging session on communication and collaboration, and Bird Guess, who shared powerful insights on leadership and systems change.

Advancing Restorative Practices in ND Schools
In November, the Restorative Practices Council gathered for two days of collaboration and strategic planning. Guided by Mikalen Belgarde, members explored strengths and aspirations through a SOAR analysis and began shaping the Best Practices Implementation Guide for Schools. These moments reflect our shared commitment to equity, cultural responsiveness, and creating belonging for every student.

Together, we’re building a strong foundation for restorative practices that support connection, accountability, and growth across our communities.
